- What is a Virtual Domain?
A Virtual Domain means having your own domain name
(http://www.your-name.com) without having to install expensive server hardware and software. With a Virtual Domain, you utilize our server's storage space, however you are still professionally represented via your own personal Internet web address domain name
(www.your-name.com) and by your own personal e-mail address domain name
(you@your-name.com).
- What is a Domain Name and how can I get one?
A domain name is your address on the World Wide Web. To be accessed from anywhere in the world, a domain name must be registered with an ICANN accredited registrar. If you already have a domain name, there is no additional cost to use that domain name with Webulant. If you need a domain name you can
purchase one through
Webulant. We'll handle the entire registration and domain name management process for you.
- How long does it take before my domain name is active?
Once the Your Domain name Registrant announces that your domain name has been registered (or transferred, if applicable), it usually takes about 72-hours before it is active. All Internet providers must update their records (DNS tables) to reflect the new site's location.
- Why do I need a maintenance plan?
It's absolutely vital if you want all the works on your site to be performed by professionals. We'll take care of your site maintenance that means installation of new scripts; upgrading and fixing of already installed scripts, implementation of design changes, and analytical report on possible site improvements.
